Today's proposal is about Parallel integration with the Moonsama ecosystem.
By posting it on the Polkassembly forum as Kusama Maxi, I’m first opening it up for discussion and if the feedback is good, we can work on the technical side to realize the proposal through an auto-executable governance vote.

Proposal Summary
By listing the POOP/USDT trading pair on Parallel AMM, we:
-showcase Polkadot’s technical capabilities as POOP will become an XC asset and more financial opportunities will open due to the possibility of bridgeless transfers between the Moonbeam and Parallel parachains
-further expand Parallel AMM asset base solidifying it as the DeFi hub for cross-chain assets as we add a valuable asset from the leading L1 of Polkadot - Moonbeam
-open up POOP to the Parallel community allowing them to reach equal opportunities on Raresama and the multiverse
-add more possibilities to trade POOP - on different chains and different pairs so it has more liquidity and is less reliant on Moonbeam (in case it goes into maintenance mode), its DEXs, and its token (a USDT pair would make POOP more independent of market conditions).

Background

Parallel
Parallel offers a one-stop DeFi platform for Polkadot and Kusama - users can trade, farm, (liquid) stake, crowdloan, lend, borrow, transfer cross-chain assets, create payment streams… 
It’s one of the biggest Polkadot parachains in terms of TVL, as well as for XCM transfers in value according to data from a third party: polkaholic.io.
Their platform is very popular for DOT & KSM liquid staking, as well as for crowdloan contributions (accounts for the most with 22,4%) so many users are already used to Parallel’s platform, have trusted it by locking their assets, and might prefer using it over DEXs. 

- Their money market is the largest one in the entire Polkadot ecosystem in terms of DOT supply which Is the most important asset for a Polkadot money market. People can borrow assets easily to buy more poop if they’re bullish on poop but don’t want to sell their other assets.

-There are no bridged assets on Parallel’s platform so there is no risk of exploits via bridges. 
Once Tether integrates Polkadot, USDT available for trade will be the true one.

- There are over 300k users on Parallel’s platform already which is a good opportunity for Raresama to gain new members & token holders.

- The UI/UX is very good.

Moonsama

For those unfamiliar with it, Moonsama has launched as the premier NFT collection of Moonriver back in September 2021. In the meanwhile, it has reached great heights as the team (of 30+ members led by one of the most influential people in the ecosystem as CEO as well as a prominent CTO who has built blockchains before) has built a bridge to Minecraft with bi-directional assets allowing over a thousand players to earn tradable assets by playing a fun event on a Web2 game for two hours a week. They've also created a metaverse by building their own world with seasonal plots in Minecraft. After having successfully incorporated NFT assets into a Web2 game, they've launched another collection (Pondsama) on Moonriver, so far based on a strategic game incorporated into Telegram with their battle engine, as well as a browser-based metaverse, with the chat connected to both Telegram and Discord.

The next step was moving from Moonriver on to Moonbeam so the team has shipped Raresama - the premier NFT marketplace of Polkadot, recording over 1M GLMR in volume in its first week with no VC backing and 100% of the fees collected going to a community fund. While the NFTs are traded in GLMR, another token has utility on it - POOP. If you want to become a member (pfp, banner, name, bio..) you need to pay a one-time fee of 100 POOP which then goes to the community fund but Moonsamas can even vote to burn the fees in which case 20% of the circulating supply would be burned if the marketplace reaches 1 million members (for reference Opensea has over 1 million active users at the moment). However, POOP will be burned anyway as it’s used as an anti-spam / anti-rug mechanism since it’s a requirement for creators to mint their own collections. Besides being the marketplace’s utility token it’s also its governance token so the marketplace would be decentralized in Web3 fashion, unlike Opensea. 
More utility will come in the Pondsama metaverse and across games / the multiverse, and more burning mechanisms will be implemented (for example it’ll very likely be needed to reroll, rent, and upgrade fish). Buyback programs are already being implemented as Moonsamas have voted to use the hundreds of thousands of GLMR collected through fees to buy POOP. This token was also needed for decentralization purposes as the community should be able to vote on the direction of Raresama - in true Web3 fashion. 

The token used to have sky-high inflation as it was distributed into the hands of the community through early-on metaverse participation (no VCs, no presales) but that has since stopped and the token will only have 10% inflation for metaverse rewards. It used to be a token on Moonriver but is now only on Moonbeam. The goal is to demonstrate the capabilities of Polkadot so it’s an interoperable XC token and it should go to more chains, more AMMs, more DEXs, and more CEXs soon.
It was listed on two Moonbeam DEXs (Stellaswap and Beamswap) about 10 days ago, instantly becoming their most transacted token on a daily basis. The POOP/WGLMR pair is the pair with the most liquidity on Beamswap ($625k), and second most on Stellaswap ($1M). No other pair on both DEXs come close to POOP/WGLMR in terms of volume, as this one has been traded with millions of dollars. The current market cap is $31.5M.

The next step for the Moonsama team is to showcase the power of Polkadot to the world by enabling XCM transfers and sending POOP to Parallel to be listed on the AMM. 


Rational
As the leading DeFi hub on Polkadot Network, Parallel Finance will be able to offer the Moonsama community the best trading solution to their primary token POOP. The XCM integration with Moonbeam chain will allow seamless bridging to transfer POOP to Parallel chain, making trading POOP on Parallel a frictionless experience for the Moonbeam & Moonsama community.

There is no doubt Moonsama has one of the strongest communities in the world, Parallel has one of the best AMMs, and this would have a positive impact on our ecosystem.
