### Proposal Summary

Parallel team proposes to list CLV/PARA trading pair on Parallel AMM. This addition of CLV will not only solidify the status of PARA token as the interim asset within the Parallel ecosystem, but also further expand our supported parachain asset base, allowing Parallel to become a DeFi hub for cross chain assets.

### Background

CLV (previously Clover Finance) is a one-stop infrastructure platform for cross-chain and decentralized applications.
The CLV chain is a Substrate-based specialized Layer 1 chain that is EVM compatible and cross-chain interoperable. The CLV wallet is a multi-chain all-in-one wallet, for Day-to-Day, Defi, Gaming purposes.

### Expected Benefit to Parallel Finance

We believe this integration of the CLV token into Parallel AMM will attract an enormous amount of attention from the CLV community and expand our general user base by offering them a chance to try out the core function of Parallel Finance.

Combined with a lucrative incentive plan, this integration will also likely to boost the TVL of Parallel Finance by introducing a new asset into our AMM, further solidifying our status as the leading DeFi protocol within the Polkadot ecosystem.

By launching CLV/PARA as the only CLV trading pair on Parallel AMM, we will be able to make PARA the interim trading token for Parallel AMM and therefore bring more demand into PARA token.

### Rational

As the leading DeFi hub on Polkadot Network, Parallel Finance will be able to offer the CLV community with the best trading solution to their native token CLV. The XCM integration with CLV chain will allow seamless bridging between CLV chain and Parallel chain, making trading CLV on Parallel a frictionless experience for the CLV community.

### Initial Liquidity

We will actively work with the CLV team for the initial liquidity support. There are potentially 2 routes we can go: 

1) Direct initial liquidity supplement from the CLV team 
2) Incentive program to attract users to provide the initial liquidity

Depending on how the conversation with the CLV team goes, one or both of these approaches will be implemented to ensure a reasonable initial liquidity for the CLV/PARA trading pair.







Problem Statement:
- The problem is the lack of a CLV/PARA trading pair on Parallel AMM, which limits the trading options for the CLV community and hinders the growth of Parallel Finance as a DeFi hub for cross-chain assets.

Significance:
- Adding the CLV/PARA trading pair will solidify PARA token's status within the Parallel ecosystem and expand the supported parachain asset base, making Parallel Finance a DeFi hub for cross-chain assets.

Proposed Solution:
- The proposal is to list the CLV/PARA trading pair on Parallel AMM, allowing the CLV community to trade their native token on Parallel Finance seamlessly.

Expected Outcomes:
- The integration of the CLV token into Parallel AMM is expected to attract attention from the CLV community and expand the user base of Parallel Finance.
- The CLV/PARA trading pair will bring more demand for PARA token and boost the Total Value Locked (TVL) of Parallel Finance.
- Initial liquidity support will be obtained through collaboration with the CLV team and potentially through an incentive program to attract liquidity providers.
